YUI Project Founder Thomas Sha Speaking at Open Hack Day Taiwan on Saturday

If you’re in Taiwan this weekend, check out the schedule for the upcoming Yahoo! Open Hack Day Taiwan. Among a stellar group of speakers is Thomas Sha, who was the first frontend engineering manager at Yahoo! in 2001 and founded the YUI project in 2005. He’ll be speaking on Saturday, October 17, at 10:40 a.m. about the recent release of YUI 3. The event is being held at National Taiwan University Hospital (NTUH) International Convention Center.

Too bad I’m not living in Taiwan.
Does anyone of you know when this “Open Hack Day” will be available here in Romania in the near future?

Yahoo! Developer Network (YDN) doesn’t have any Open Hack Days planned in Romania – however if you subscribe to our blog at http://developer.yahoo.com you will be able to keep an eye on event announcements, including for the Eastern Europe region.

And we at YDN are always interested to hear about community developer events that might need sponsorship or speakers. Please get in touch via the Contact Us page on the YDN website (“Resources” tab) with a proposal.
