This a really helpful presentation. I’ve been following HTML5, but have been reluctant to implement it on my projects due to concerns about support. This video equipped me with the info to know the use cases and best practices on what can be implemented now. This is the first time I’ve watched Tantek speak and he is really easy to follow.
A coworker and I were talking today about the number of APIs we use and the advantage that the openness of the web has allowed us to build on the works of others for better and quicker implementations. HTML5 will blow the door open on the possibilities of web applications.
